Our Beehive Inner Cover provides extra ventilation and fresh air to your hive, as well as an added layer of insulation and protection when placed under an outer cover. And adding this wooden vented Inner Cover to your 10-frame hive prevents your outer cover from being proposed and stuck to the hive body. Made from plywood with tongue-and-groove (on both cover and solid board) framing. Can be used with our Bee Escape (sold separately) to easily remove bees from supers at honey harvesting time.

This Beehive Inner Cover provides extra ventilation, fresh air, and reduces condensation in your hive.
This cover is the appropriate size for a 10 & 8 -frame hive and the hole in the top correct size for use with our Bee Escape which is sold separately, and provides an easy one-way route for bees when clearing the hive.
This board adds an extra measure of insulation and protection when place it under an outer cover.
Just simply add the inner cover under the outer cover on the top of your hive to improve insulation. This is a great addition to a bee keeping starter kit or standard hive kit.
